Do you have any money saving advice to share with us?

“We have had a little problem with credit card debit.  If you can’t pay for it at the end of the month, then you can’t afford it.  But if you do get into credit card debit watch for 0% balance transfer offers and take advantage of them until you can get your credit card bills down.

My second piece of advice would be when buying a car – if you can’t pay it off in three years then you can’t afford it. ”

Reflecting back on your life - is there anything you regret when it comes to money or finance?

“We regret not buying Google stock.  We talked about it but didn’t do it.  Overall we aren’t as active with investing as we should be.  We have started our retirement plans way too late.  Had we started them when we first started working or in our early 20s we would be in great shape, but we spent or money on playthings instead.  By starting your retirement plan early, you can make much smaller contributions and still come out ahead.  I just didn’t realize this at 21.”
